Marooned at the hollow hills on sick sick berg
Wilded by the heap of hounds on crude brute yard
Dawdling petrified in the wake of off-track haven
Whirring cryptic doom hovering above like hoodoo raven
Ghastly apparition of gloomy shapes, disguise in distance
Frozen lungs exhaling the heavy puffs in hesitance
Far and wide, dreadful rapid roops scuff the maze of my ears
Shrieking cadavers bemoan the departure of thier dreary souls
I, falling on knee to resurrect the dying me
forehead on floor, awaiting the feet of my savior
Beleaguered by blue blind Ocean shrinking the isle of my heart
Sinking my dream of togetherness to hold out the end part
You, nowhere to be seen, I, crawling over and over again
The insufferable pain that my sticky soul leaves tearing off the body
And clouding in air with colours
My coffin let on ground unnoticed unburied
Right there sojourning for you

The intentional fallacy finely works here I believe๐๐๐

Deception, the poem, indeed does not deceive the readers. Majorly for the craftsmanship, the poem demands appreciation. In what is to be an yearning eye of the dying speaker, never closes until the said subject appears, but sojourns from there on. This quintessential element binds the entire work to a magnificent feel of longingness. The mysterious someone/ something that the speaker points to may be the saviour of saviour himself. May be the resurrection of a creative heart longing for the creative soul or on a lighter vein, the PUBG warrior at his dying stage needing recharge. The core of the poem, tries to talk about the conscious awakening of the speaker through a subject that is very much able to provide the necessary functionality to resurrect, rejuvenate or remodel the speaker. Is the speaker by some means aiming at an inspiration of power, as he already strolled a good distance of hardship from rough cliffs to hollow bergs to blue dark oceans. Or is the poet, deliberately invoking the reader to sojourn after death, an after life towards piece. Is that someone, the Unseen but Omnipresent himself? With so many possibilities, the poem is definitely an eye opener.

This poem is a play with the “signified” of the reader. Poems are meant for interpretations after all. But not most of the time a poet creates a poem that can be subjected to a lot of interpretations. The individual lines and images in a poem may give different meaning meanings for different readers but the underlying theme, we get by connecting all the images and metaphors will be the same for every one. This poem is one of the poem that gives different theme for different readers when connected the images and metaphors. Derrida wins here! Chains of signifiers…No signified at all.

Thank u da.. on process of making this one, I deliberately provided the chain of signifiers, in contradiction, not to trace the actual signified of the poem in order to justify the intentional fallacy of Bradley and Wimsett and to emphasize’for a poem’ the importance of defamiliarizion of Viktor Shklovsky.
